While the crowd at CES was muted due to omicron, the latest COVID variant, it was a great opportunity for Kudan to gain a lot of interest from visitors, direct interactions, and technical feedback. With Hesai’s generous support, Kudan was able to join their booth and focus on the robot demo and interaction in order to fully demonstrate Kudan’s localization and autonomous navigation capabilities.

We had engaging interactions with dozens of various companies interested in our technology from the automotive, robotics, sensors (camera and Lidar), and enterprise solutions spaces. In particular, we received a lot of comments about the operation and application area of real-time advanced point cloud generation using only Lidar sensor, as well as the interest in Kudan’s technology for other sensor fusion such as wheel odometry, IMU, and GNSS. As a result, this CES event was a great opportunity to demonstrate Kudan’s technological capabilities, including the high performance achieved by integrating our technology with other companies’ devices and sensors.

We will continue to nurture and grow the various conversations and new business opportunities that we had at CES2022 into the next steps.
