(Headquarters: Tokyo; CEO: Daiu Ko; hereafter &#8220;Kudan&#8221;) participated in the opening ceremony of the Fire Technology Research and Development Center, a new facility established by the Tokyo Fire Department (TFD) on April 1, 2026, to drive innovation through industry-academia-government collaboration.</p>
<p>The center serves as a development hub aimed at addressing the wide range of challenges facing fire administration through the creation of breakthrough technologies and new operational tactics. At the ceremony, Kudan demonstrated a next-generation spatial recognition and scene documentation solution designed to make firefighting safer and more effective. The demonstration featured Kudan&#8217;s proprietary photorealistic digital twin platform, Kudan PRISM, together with a handheld scanner from partner company XGRIDS.</p>
<p>During the event, a live proof-of-concept exercise was conducted with Kudan&#8217;s support, simulating the harsh conditions of a smoke-filled emergency scene. Firefighters used the handheld scanner to capture spatial data from a room with severely limited visibility, generating an on-the-spot 3D model that provided immediate spatial awareness of the environment. The exercise also demonstrated how feeding that 3D data into Kudan PRISM enables a new form of scene documentation — more intuitive and far more precise than conventional methods that rely on photographs and hand-drawn sketches.</p>

<p>Building on the results of this demonstration, Kudan will continue its ongoing discussions with the Tokyo Fire Department on applications including:</p>

<li><strong>Real-time spatial awareness at fire and disaster scenes</strong>: Rapidly capturing and visualizing spatial information even in conditions of dense smoke or darkness, helping to protect personnel and improve on-scene decision-making.</li>
<li><strong>3D digitization of post-incident investigation</strong>: Recording fire scene conditions as 3D data on the photorealistic digital twin platform Kudan PRISM, enabling reconstruction and sharing that streamlines post-incident investigation, analysis, and reporting.</li>
<li><strong>Enhanced disaster preparedness planning and training simulations</strong>: Leveraging 3D spatial data to understand facility layouts and identify hazards, develop training scenarios, and share spatial information among stakeholders — strengthening disaster preparedness planning and training on an ongoing basis.</li>

<p>Throughout the 2025 NFL season, Kudan’s XR broadcasting solution, Kudan VANTAGETM, was continuously deployed for all FOX Sports weekend highlight games. Operating under live, mission-critical broadcast conditions on a weekly basis, the solution delivered stable and repeatable performance, establishing a proven full-season operational record.</p>
<p>A hallmark of this collaboration was the close, hands-on cooperation among Kudan, SkyCam and FOX Sports, conducting more than 20 match-day joint activities, including on-site deployment, live operational support, and post-game technical reviews. This frequent collaboration enabled rapid refinement and ensured broadcast-grade reliability across a wide range of stadium environments.</p>
<p>In October 2025, the partnership reached a significant operational milestone, with Kudan’s real-time tracking technology permanently installed within FOX Sports’ broadcast production infrastructure for the season. This permanent integration enabled more streamlined XR workflows with reduced setup overhead and underscored the solution’s maturity and readiness for continuous broadcast operations beyond short-term event use.</p>
<p>In parallel with live deployments, the teams jointly advanced the XR solution from a LiDAR-centric approach to a multi-sensor-fusion architecture incorporating camera information, further enhancing tracking robustness, visual consistency, and adaptability in dynamic live sports environments.</p>
<p>As a result of sustained season-long operation and permanent infrastructure integration, Kudan’s real-time tracking system became an integral, production-ready component of FOX Sports’ broadcast workflow. The continuous on-air presence and strategic infrastructure commitment attracted strong attention from broadcasters, production partners, and the global sports media and XR market, reinforcing the commercial viability of SLAM-driven XR broadcasting technologies.</p>
<p>While Kudan did not appear in this year’s Super Bowl broadcast, as FOX Sports was not the official broadcaster, the collaboration builds on prior success at Super Bowl LIX, held in February 2025, where Kudan’s technology powered large-scale XR visuals for one of the world’s most-watched sporting events.</p>
<p>Looking ahead, Kudan plans to further commercialize Kudan VANTAGETM by advancing deployment efficiency, standardizing operational workflows, and expanding applicability across additional sports, leagues, and broadcast formats. (Headquartered in Taipei City, Taiwan; CEO: Mingta Tu, “MacroInsight”), a company based in Taipei, Taiwan, for the next-generation intelligent shipyard project led by the Taiwanese government. The two companies will jointly advance the digital twin command center that integrates Spatial Perception technology, mobile sensing system, deep learning, and generative AI. This command center will support smart patrol inspection, industrial safety monitoring, and predictive maintenance.</p>
<p>Through this system, on-site information will be comprehensively and instantly aggregated in the command center via digital twins reflecting all sensor data, enabling real-time decision-making and precise management. This initiative will accelerate digital transformation in the shipbuilding industry.</p>
