<p>Additionally, we are pleased to host the 3rd edition of the re-localization challenge for autonomous driving based on the 4Seasons dataset. 4Seasons dataset contains various sensor data for multiple places in literally all the 4 seasons for testing re-localization robustness against seasonal changes of sceneries. This challenge is open to the public for participation.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Prof. Daniel Cremers is Chief Scientific Officer of Artisense Corporation (hereafter “Artisense”), Kudan’s group company, and the Chair of Computer Vision &amp; Artificial Intelligence at Technical University of Munich (TUM). He participated in a workshop &#8220;Visual Odometry &amp; Computer Vision Applications Based on Location Clues (VOCVALC)&#8221; held at this year&#8217;s CVPR (Computer Vision &amp; Pattern Recognition), which is the most active and prestigious conference in the computer vision sector together with ICCV (International Conference on Computer Vision). He delivered a presentation titled &#8220;Visual SLAM in the Age of Self-Supervised Learning.&#8221;</p>

<p>Prof. Cremers delivered the latest advancement in the area of Direct Visual SLAM, which is Aritsense&#8217;s core technology, and gives strong differentiation factors to them compared to other conventional Indirect Visual SLAM. This presentation revealed several approaches TUM and Artisense have been working on using deep learning to solve recurring problems in localization for automotive and robotics.</p>
<p>Kudan and Artisense will leverage these research findings and insights to maintain our competitive edge in commercial SLAM applications.</p>
