Kudan has entered into a partnership with XGRIDS, a leading provider of spatial computing products

Kudan is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a partnership with XGRIDS LIMITED (XGRIDS), a Hong Kong-based leading provider of spatial computing products.

XGRIDS, known for its Lixel series of handheld scanner devices and the 3D reconstruction solution Lixel Cyber Color, is rapidly expanding, particularly in the Asian and European markets. This time, Kudan and XGRIDS have agreed to enter into a business partnership to further accelerate the development of the digital twin and autonomous mobile robot markets through mutual cooperation.

In today’s rapidly evolving technological landscape, the integration of mobile mapping, digital twin and autonomous robotics technologies is becoming increasingly critical. It provides real-time, high-resolution 3D spatial intelligent data, streamlining operations, enabling predictive inspection and maintenance, and improving risk management. This supports informed decision-making, offers scalable and flexible solutions across various industries, and gives businesses a competitive edge through innovative capabilities and improved efficiencies.

By combining Kudan’s advanced Artificial Perception and XGRIDS’ Spatial Computing technologies, both companies will explore the joint development of high-value-added, cutting-edge solutions for mobile mapping, digital twin and autonomous robot sectors.

Furthermore, by leveraging XGRIDS’ Lixel series of handheld scanners, Kudan will expand the line-up of available mapping equipment to ultra-lightweight, high-precision hand-held devices, in addition to the traditional backpack and vehicle-mounted devices, with the aim of further expanding our business opportunities in asset management solution business across a wider range of industries.

The two companies will also collaborate and mutually use their sales networks—for Kudan specifically in Japan and Europe and for XGRIDS in the Asia-Pacific region—to strengthen their sales capabilities and drive the adoption of new technologies and products.
