Use Case Description

Autonomous driving and/or teleoperation use cases for various types of industrial machines, where especially can’t depend on GNSS/GPS base localization:

  • Various size of trucks that operate at factory, construction site, port, query etc.
  • Construction/heavy machinery such as excavator, bulldozer, wheel loader, tunnel boring machine etc.

Overview

In outdoor / outdoor-indoor mixed environments (e.g. plant, factory, construction site, port and airport) where safety and robustness are critical, Kudan’s unique sensor fusion technology is used to support the development and commercialization of autonomous driving in dynamic environments (e.g. indoor/outdoor, even/uneven ground, and daytime/nighttime, dynamic objects and scenery changes) using flexible sensor configuration and algorithm integration.

Kudan’s unique map-handling features also helps to reduce costs in deployment and operations of autonomous applications at broader scale, rather than the limited area for PoCs.

Furthermore, Kudan is capable of offering full stack autonomous driving system through leveraging partners’ platform, besides offering Kudan’s pure mapping and localization software.
