Why We’re Hiring
Kudan is developing Kudan PRISM, a photorealistic digital twin solution powered by 3D Gaussian Splatting, enabling high-fidelity 3D reconstruction of real-world spaces.
Kudan PRISM is now moving beyond the PoC-driven adoption phase across infrastructure, construction, and robotics into full-scale deployment as a cloud-based SaaS platform.
To accelerate this growth, we are looking for a Product Manager who can bridge customers, business development, and engineering, and take end-to-end ownership of the product—from defining the mid- to long-term roadmap and driving day-to-day development to cloud architecture and SaaS operations.
This is not simply a role for managing requirements and schedules. You will work backwards from what the market and our customers truly need, determine how those needs can be realized through technology, and take an active role in building the product itself.
Key Responsibilities
You will lead the development of Kudan PRISM end to end—from product strategy and roadmap planning to cloud architecture, engineering leadership, and the operation and scaling of the SaaS platform.
◆ Product Planning & Execution
- Define product roadmap and requirements
- Prioritize features based on customer needs and PoC results
- Coordinate with clients, business teams, engineers, and vendors
- Drive UI/UX improvements
◆ Cloud Architecture & Operations
- Design scalable systems on AWS / Azure
- Optimize microservices and infrastructure
- Drive CI/CD, automated testing, security, and cost optimization
◆ Engineering Team Leadership
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams
- Manage sprints, tasks, and development progress
- Drive technical issues through to implementation
◆ Technology Scouting & Implementation
- Stay ahead of Gaussian Splatting, AI, and related technologies
- Turn customer needs into practical technical solutions
- Lead development from PoC to production
◆ External Integrations & Deployment
- Drive integrations with BIM/CIM, IoT, AI, and enterprise systems
- Define requirements and technical specifications with partners

- 4+ years of hands-on experience developing cloud-based SaaS or web solutions
- Experience with modern frontend technologies such as WebGL, React, and TypeScript, or full-stack development experience
- Hands-on experience building and operating systems on AWS, including EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFront, and RDS
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, or CircleCI
- Experience leading an engineering team of approximately five or more members
- Conversational-level English communication skills
- Product management experience from requirements definition through release
- Experience developing products involving 3D models, point clouds, or digital twins
- Understanding of AI / computer vision, SLAM, Unity, Three.js, or related technologies
- Experience working in startup environments or PoC-driven development
- Advanced English communication skills

Why We’re Hiring
Kudan is bringing its core spatial perception technologies into real-world applications across robotics and digital twins. We are now at a stage where our technologies are being deployed as practical solutions across infrastructure, logistics, construction, and other industries.
We are currently developing navigation products for autonomous robots and multi-robot fleet management. Upcoming initiatives include PoCs with major construction companies and automotive manufacturers, autonomous patrols in warehouses, material transportation at construction sites, and validation projects related to national R&D programs.
We are looking for a Robotics Engineer to integrate Kudan’s cloud and edge software into a variety of robotic platforms and technically lead PoCs and field validation. Beyond software development, you will work across sensors, robotics, navigation, and cloud technologies to build intelligent autonomous systems that work reliably in real-world environments.
Key Responsibilities
You will integrate navigation software into real robotic platforms and take ownership from sensor setup and software development through field deployment and performance validation.
【Integration: Bring Autonomous Robots to Life】
- Robot integration: Integrate Kudan’s ROS2-based navigation software and fleet management capabilities into various robotic platforms
- Sensor integration: Install, configure, and calibrate 3D / 2D LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GNSS, and tune sensor fusion
- Technical interface design: Work with robot manufacturers, customers, and external partners to define interfaces and system configurations
【PoC & Development: From Field Validation to Product Improvement】
- Lead PoCs and field validation: Prepare, deploy, tune, and troubleshoot autonomous systems for warehouse patrols, construction-site transportation, and other field trials
- Data analysis & performance evaluation: Collect and analyze validation data, identify issues, and feed insights back into product development
- ROS2 software development: Design and develop Nav2-related nodes and plugins, sensor interfaces, Behavior Trees, and project-specific customizations
- Deployment environments: Build stable deployment environments using Docker, edge devices, and related technologies

Deploy your software on real robots, tune sensors, run them in the field, and troubleshoot issues firsthand. This is a role where you can directly see your software turn into real robotic behavior.
◆ Work across the autonomous navigation stack
Go beyond ROS2 / Nav2 and gain hands-on experience with LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GNSS, sensor fusion, fleet management, Docker, edge computing, and other technologies that make autonomous systems work.
◆ Connect customers, the field, and engineering
Work directly with customers, robot manufacturers, and external partners at PoCs and field trials. Bring real-world data and challenges back to the development team and help drive continuous product improvement.
◆ Take on diverse robots and environments
Work across warehouses and construction sites, as well as outdoor and unstructured environments, with opportunities to deploy technology on a wide range of robotic platforms, including quadruped robots.
- Hands-on experience with ROS2 and Nav2
- Ability to design and implement ROS2 nodes
- Robot software development experience in C++ or Python
- Experience with sensor fusion and calibration using LiDAR, cameras, IMUs, GNSS, etc.
- Experience integrating and validating real robotic systems in the field
- Native-level Japanese
- Comfortable working with overseas development teams through English documentation and chat
- Experience developing localization, SLAM, path planning, or other navigation algorithms
- Knowledge or experience with AI-based navigation and perception, including VLA / VLM
- Experience with fleet management systems such as OpenRMF or cloud-connected robotics
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD, NVIDIA Jetson, or other edge deployment environments
- Experience with autonomous navigation in outdoor or unstructured environments, or with diverse robotic platforms such as quadruped robots
- Experience with national or government-funded R&D projects
