Combination of KudanSLAM, real time 3D mapping and position tracking software algorithm with Synopsys’ DesignWare EV6x Vision Processors brings efficient and accurate computer vision to robotics, drones, cars, AR/VR and IoT applications.

Kudan, a leading Simultaneous Localization and Mapping software algorithms licensor and Synopsys, Inc., a leading licensor of semiconductor IP for smarter, connected devices, today announced a partnership aimed at accelerating the development of efficient and high performance computer vision SoCs, optimizing KudanSLAM on Synopsys’ DesignWare EV6x Vision Processors.

KudanSLAM performs with high speed/ low power consumption, high accuracy and high robustness with full versatility. Through the partnership, Kudan and Synopsys will collaborate to increase the performance and power efficiency for computer vision devices.
